Secret Art

"During the "Namibia Tulipamwe" artistic residence my inspiration turned in to sand and sky and dry bright light.

In the banks of the of the Kuiseb River I explored and seek to discover some of the desert`s secrets.

Unveiling in front of my eyes, dotted between the majestic dune landscape and the endless gravel plains, the desert rocks are shelters. Underneath them hide solitary toxic lives, and precious colonies of microorganisms.

“Secret art” is a  body of work that, in a challenging attitude towards the viewer, reflects about this concealed mysteries. Creating possibilities of visible and hidden movements and portraits that are only allowed to be seen by the brave.

They are gold over blue and shaped using elements found in the desert like seeds, glass, sand and mica."
